We were hired to design and remodel a Boynton Beach home for a wonderful Canadian couple who wanted a stylish, functional getaway for their family. Main request was to create a beautiful space where they could relax with their kids—something unique and different from the typical Florida home. The biggest challenge? The kitchen, which was too small to accommodate multiple people and lacked storage, causing the family to rely on takeout more than they wanted.
With a budget of $200K for the renovation and styling, we set to work on transforming the space into their dream home. In the kitchen, we maximized the space by extending the cabinets all the way to the ceiling to create a sense of height and openness. We incorporated clever storage solutions, adding cabinets around the fridge and open shelving between the sink and window to make the space feel larger and more inviting. The light waterjet marble backsplash, which extends to the ceiling behind the shelves, brings attention upward, further enhancing the airy feel. Throughout the home, we laid light oak tile to unify the space, making the entire home feel more expansive and cohesive, with the exception of the bathrooms.
In the living room, we replaced outdated dark furniture with a light, modern sectional that could comfortably accommodate the family and their children’s friends. To tie the living room into the kitchen, we added custom shelving next to the TV. One of my favorite details was the cozy corner nook with a floating table—a perfect spot for morning coffee. We also added a subtle touch of texture with light grass cloth wallpaper on the TV wall and behind the shelves, which helped give the space depth and warmth. A plush rug and glass coffee table completed the inviting, family-friendly atmosphere.
In the entryway, we removed the heavy, dark office furniture and replaced it with a small oak desk, providing both style and functional storage. We carried the grass cloth wallpaper from the living room onto the wall visible from the entry, creating a seamless flow throughout the space. The new chairs and sconces tied everything together beautifully.
Upstairs, the transformation of the master bedroom was dramatic. We swapped out the oversized dark cherry furniture for more modern, relaxed pieces with cane detailing, echoing the kitchen’s cabinet handles and bringing continuity to the design. Behind the bed, we installed a striking palm wallpaper, paired with oversized amber sconces for a clean, uncluttered look. The addition of automatic shades throughout the house allowed for complete privacy when desired with the room darkening feature, or the option for natural light to flood the space.
Before the renovation, this home felt dark and outdated. Now, it’s a bright, inviting space that perfectly reflects the family’s personality and needs. The clients were absolutely thrilled with the final result—speechless, in fact—loving their new, rejuvenated home that is now a beautiful and functional retreat for years to come.
This charming home in Royal Palm Beach, Florida, belongs to a vibrant young family of four who were eager to create a space that truly reflected their fun, lively personalities. The home, however, was dominated by dark, brown tones—every surface from the cabinets to the furniture to the walls was brown, making the space feel heavy and outdated. It didn’t feel like them at all. With the wife’s love for bright colors and accessories (we even joked with her that she looked like Barbie!), it was clear they wanted a home that felt more cheerful and aligned with their dynamic style.
While the clients didn’t want to completely remodel the kitchen, they wanted to brighten things up and inject personality into the space. Since replacing the cabinetry wasn't in the budget, we gave the existing cabinets a makeover—white upper cabinets paired with teal lower cabinets, bringing in a fresh, bold contrast. We also added a coffee bar with matching cabinetry to help the kitchen feel larger and more functional. Acrylic handles with gold accents provided a touch of sophistication, and the stunning stone countertop, reminiscent of sand meeting the sea, added the perfect finishing touch.
In the living room, we embraced the bold color palette, choosing a sofa that echoed the teal from the kitchen, making the space feel cohesive. To maintain an open feel, we placed a rattan-detailed ottoman at the center, complementing the TV cabinet.
The dining room received a pop of personality with an eye-catching coral wallpaper accent wall. We added a statement chandelier made from shells and pearls to bring in a natural, elegant touch, while the combination of white chairs and an oak table kept the space formal yet inviting.
Upstairs, the loft was transformed into a multi-functional space where the boys could study, play, and hang out. The design strikes a balance between playful and sophisticated, with two shades of teal on an accent wall, a cozy beige couch to neutralize the space, and custom cabinetry for toy and game storage. A dedicated desk area was added to provide a functional homework zone.
The result is a home that’s as bright, warm, and welcoming as the family who lives here. The clients were absolutely thrilled with the transformation, and we’re grateful to now call them friends.
This home in Delray Beach, Florida, had already seen some remodeling, but the clients were still not fully satisfied. They had invested in a stunning spiral staircase, only to realize that the new layout made it the main focal point upon entering the home—blocking the beautiful view of their backyard. Additionally, as passionate entertainers, they were frustrated by the cramped kitchen that forced guests to gather in the same small space. They didn’t know how to create a better flow for entertaining, but they knew they needed a solution.
We got to work by rethinking the layout to enhance both functionality and design. First, we moved the staircase to open up the view of the backyard, improving the flow of the space. In the area where the staircase once stood, we designed a striking custom bar that would become the centerpiece of the room. The bar was outfitted with a liquor tap hookup, wine cooler drawers, and sleek storage for their favorite drinks. We didn’t want this to be just any bar, so we incorporated black tile with subtle gold accents that rise up the wall, paired with custom lacquer shelving with under-cabinet lighting. To add a touch of drama, we extended the shelving only on the corner, creating a beautiful focal point that draws the eye.
Strategically placed near the back slider, the bar became the perfect space for both indoor and outdoor entertaining, seamlessly connecting with the pool area. On the opposite side, we installed floating stairs, offering a minimalistic and modern backdrop to the bold new bar design.
The result was a home that now worked for the family’s lifestyle, with plenty of space to entertain while still allowing them to enjoy their stunning backyard view. The clients were beyond thrilled with the transformation, even telling us that their only complaint now was that they couldn’t get their guests to leave! They were so happy with the project that they created a glowing testimonial video for us, sharing their excitement about their new space.
At the time, our company was known as Dazzle, and we’re so grateful to have been part of this wonderful project. Since then, we’ve rebranded, but the joy of helping clients like these create homes they truly love remains at the heart of everything we do.
This project involved working with a client building his home in the exclusive Boca Bridges community in Boca Raton, FL. The client sought a contemporary, unique design that reflected his personal style while incorporating luxurious elements. With a budget of $150,000, we transformed key spaces in the home, ensuring each room felt cohesive, stylish, and functional.
The living room featured a dramatic 22-foot accent wall, which the client was unsure how to design. We created a stunning stone wall using porcelain for its thin profile and modern aesthetic. The tiles were carefully book-matched, creating a symmetrical, natural stone pattern that felt like a work of art. In the center of the wall, we installed a full-length dark mirror that reflected the striking 6-foot raindrop chandelier above, adding both visual depth and elegance. The room was finished with a luxurious chenille sofa and chairs, complemented by crystal accents, balancing sophistication with comfort.
In the adjacent family room, we designed another accent wall with sleek black shelving and lacquered linear cabinetry surrounding the TV. Blue LED lighting highlighted the shelves and added a pop of color to the space. The client specifically requested a grey leather sofa, which we paired with a grey alligator rug to enhance the modern, masculine vibe of the room.
For the kitchen, the client wanted a crisp, minimalist design. We selected all-white cabinetry and surfaces, with a beautiful white quartz countertop to maintain a clean, cohesive look. Elegant seating from Rob and Stucky added comfort while complementing the modern aesthetic.
In the master suite, we continued the dark, neutral color palette with subtle blue accents on the walls. Instead of traditional lamps, we opted for hanging chandeliers over the nightstands, maintaining clean lines and minimizing clutter. A comfortable seating area with white and grey leather pieces was placed beside the bed, with strategically placed hanging plants adding warmth and a natural touch to the space. This created a serene, masculine atmosphere, perfectly suited to the client’s taste.
Overall, the project was a true reflection of the client’s desire for a contemporary, luxurious, and personal home. Each space was designed with thoughtful attention to detail, blending comfort and style seamlessly to create a truly unique living environment.
This project was a transformation of a home in Parkland, Florida, where the clients sought to redesign their underutilized dining and living rooms to better fit their lifestyle. The dining room had become a cluttered space, a thoroughfare for family members to drop off items, rather than the welcoming area they desired. The clients loved wine and wanted a way to showcase their collection, but they also hated that the space was a pass-through to the rest of the house. They enjoyed entertaining and wanted the flow of the home to connect more directly to their newly renovated pool area. Additionally, as avid travelers, they wanted a space to display souvenirs and treasures from their trips.
To better suit their needs, we reworked the entryway, closing off the old access point to the rest of the house. This allowed us to create a more functional and inviting space, eliminating the cluttered, non-useful feeling the room had previously. We designed a custom bar and shelving unit that reached up to the 18-foot ceiling, incorporating a wine fridge to store their extensive collection. The new bar area became the focal point of the room, a perfect place to entertain guests and enjoy drinks. On the opposite side of the room, we created a cigar bar-inspired lounge area with four luxurious brown leather chairs, offering a cozy yet stylish space for intimate gatherings. A custom shelving unit was built to display their travel mementos, with lighting integrated to highlight the pieces.
The same stone used on the island was also incorporated into the shelving, creating a seamless design flow. At the top of the shelving unit, we installed a decorative mirror that, when activated, reveals a hidden TV. This clever feature allowed the clients to enjoy watching sports and other events during parties, without sacrificing the elegance and class of the space.
This $150,000 renovation met the clients' needs perfectly. It transformed a space that had been underutilized into a vibrant, functional area for adult entertaining. With the kids growing up and leaving the nest, the clients now had a beautiful, sophisticated setting for enjoying their passions—wine, travel, and entertaining—while seamlessly connecting the indoors with their gorgeous outdoor pool area. The clients were thrilled with the results, and the design truly reflected their love for entertaining and their unique lifestyle.
This project will always hold a special place in our hearts, which is why it’s known by the name it is. Located in Coral Springs, FL, this home belonged to a close-knit family, and we were entrusted with the heartfelt task of remodeling it to better suit the needs of a mother who had been through so much. The project was initiated by her son-in-law, who reached out to us with an incredibly touching story. His mother-in-law had lost her husband unexpectedly during the COVID pandemic—he collapsed in their bedroom, and she hadn't been able to sleep there since. On top of that, she was battling cancer, all while working as a dedicated RN and caring for her grandbabies. Her children ran a family business for autistic children, and she was the loving matriarch who supported them through it all. This family’s story moved us deeply, and we were honored to help them transform this home.
The house itself was outdated and cold, with a kitchen that wasn’t functional for all the grandchildren and no comfortable spaces where the family could gather. Our goal was to create a warm, inviting atmosphere where this loving family could come together and find comfort during such a challenging time.
We started with the dining room, located at the entrance of the home. Partnering with our talented Accent Wall team, we designed a square wood feature that drew the eye upward, creating a sense of openness and height. The room was filled with light, airy furniture, including a soft rug, while a wooden console table added warmth to the space. Our window treatment team installed room-darkening shades in every window to offer the family privacy when needed, while grey velvet drapes, hung just below the ceiling, added an elegant touch, making the space feel both cozy and refined.
In the kitchen, we created a massive island that became the heart of the home—a wide, functional surface perfect for preparing meals and gathering with family. The waterfall countertops, made of exquisite Taj Mahal stone, were not only beautiful but easy to clean, making them ideal for a home with young children. This space was designed to be practical without sacrificing style.
The family room was designed with comfort in mind, continuing the same window treatments for consistency. We furnished it with a spacious, comfortable sofa that could fit the entire family, creating a perfect space to relax and spend time together. To personalize the space, we collaborated with our amazing photographer, Katelin Hodge, to capture beautiful portraits of the grandmother with her grandbabies in a local park. These images were then framed and displayed throughout the room, adding a deeply personal touch. As a surprise, we also created a coffee table book filled with the photos for the family to treasure for years to come.
In the master bedroom, we took extra care to create a serene and restful environment, one that would honor the memory of the grandmother’s late husband. The color scheme was light and calming, with soft oak wood, white, and blue accents. Behind the bed, we installed a stunning accent wall, and to make the space even more special, we arranged with her son-in-law to borrow the grandmother’s wedding photos. We had them enlarged and framed, creating a beautiful tribute to her husband that would keep his memory alive in the room where she could finally rest.
The emotional reveal of this space was unforgettable. The grandbabies were overjoyed, and to our surprise, the son-in-law—who we never expected to get emotional—was moved to tears. It was a moment of pure love, joy, and gratitude that we’ll always remember.
This home and this family will forever hold a special place in our hearts. The transformation was not just a renovation—it was a heartfelt labor of love, and we’re incredibly grateful to have been a part of it. Below, you’ll find the link to the video walkthrough and testimonial. Please keep in mind that since completing this project, we have rebranded to RG Home Designs, but during this project, we were known as Dazzle.
This project involved designing a first home for a client in Wellington, Florida, who had a clear vision of her love for modern farmhouse style. We embraced that vision, blending rustic charm with modern elegance to create a space that was both inviting and stylish.
We began in the living room with chairs featuring black metal arms and legs, providing a sleek, contemporary touch. The sofa, one of our favorite picks to this day, featured beautiful belt detailing on the sides, giving it a rustic, farmhouse feel while maintaining a clean, modern silhouette. Light, airy window treatments that extended all the way to the ceiling added a regal quality to the space, making the room feel both expansive and elegant.
In the family room, we created a cozy, comfortable atmosphere with a beautiful brown leather sectional. This sectional was not only stunning but incredibly comfortable, so much so that I ended up purchasing it for my own home after the renovation. We sprinkled in wood and metal accents throughout the room, which brought warmth and balance to the space. The overall feel was modern and welcoming, with a perfect blend of textures and materials.
During the renovation, we also had the privilege of designing a bedroom for the client’s elderly grandmother. This kind and gentle woman, who passed shortly after the project was completed, deserved a peaceful retreat. We created a serene and cozy space for her with soft colors, simple furnishings, and calming textures.
Upstairs, we focused on creating a calming bedroom for the client herself, incorporating a mix of textures through blankets, pillows, and hanging plants on either side of the room. This organic, earthy design helped create a sanctuary where she could relax and unwind after long days of hard work. The space came together beautifully, offering a peaceful haven she could enjoy.
This project was about designing a home that reflected the client’s style and needs while creating a warm, welcoming environment. The blend of modern farmhouse elements with natural touches made the home both functional and aesthetically pleasing, a place where she could truly feel at home.
This project involved redesigning a home for snowbirds from Michigan who had recently purchased in the Leisureville 55+ community in Boynton Beach, FL. While they loved the location, the home’s original layout didn’t meet their needs. The bedrooms were small, the spaces felt choppy, and there were awkward, unusable areas that didn’t serve a purpose. The clients wanted a more functional layout and a coastal Florida vibe to make their winters in Florida feel like a true retreat.
We completely repurposed the layout of the home, starting by creating a spacious master suite. To do this, we "borrowed" space from the awkward living room, transforming it into a generous bedroom with plenty of room for relaxation and comfort. Before the renovation, the home didn’t even have a designated master bathroom, so we reconfigured the layout to include a luxurious new ensuite. The changes not only created the space they needed but also made the entire home feel much larger and more open, giving them the room to enjoy their time in Florida.
To create the coastal vibe they desired, we introduced a palette of teals, blues, and greens, bringing the feeling of the beach inside. The kitchen was completely redesigned with white shaker cabinets to keep the space bright and airy, and we paired them with dark leathered quartz countertops to provide contrast and add sophistication. The new design balanced both function and style, creating a home that was comfortable, inviting, and perfect for entertaining.
The clients were thrilled with the results, and we are honored to still call them friends. This renovation not only improved the flow and functionality of their space but also created a serene, coastal atmosphere that truly feels like a retreat in sunny Florida.
